Plastic Bottle Campus Recycling
Texans annually dispose of more than 30 million tons of trash. That’s more than one ton for every person in the state. As the population grows, the volume of waste, and the cost of disposing of it, increases. Reducing waste is more important than ever, not just to protect the environment, but to save money as well.
Fortunately, Keep Pearland Beautiful is here to assist your school in providing a recycling program! KPB can provide a collection container, bags, education and pickup service for your school.
Tip: Student ownership is critical to the success of a school recycling program. A student coordinator in the classroom can play an important role by monitoring what materials are placed in the container and ensuring that proper materials are being recycled.
