Keep Pearland Beautiful will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2022. Since 1982, KPB volunteers, members, and staff have provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in positive impact, year over year, to the Pearland community in pursuit of their vision to make Pearland the cleanest and most beautiful city in Texas.
To commemorate the special occasion, KPB is launching a $40 for 40 years of impact fundraising campaign. The organization relies heavily upon the support of individual and family contributions to fund its many environmental education programs, local student scholarships, beautification projects, cleanup events, and the operation of the Stella Roberts Recycling Center which diverts over 1.5 million pounds of recycling each year from landfills.
In 2021, Keep Pearland Beautiful planted over 1,000 trees, cleaned hundreds of miles of roadways and waterways, and helped instill a sense of stewardship for the environment in hundreds of children, young adults, and families. KPB’s mission is to empower Pearland citizens to take responsibility for their environment. With your support, we can focus on building a roadmap to continue building upon our impact and delivering an even cleaner, greener, and beautiful Pearland for many years to come.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a financial impact on the nonprofit world by interrupting annual fundraising events. Direct community support is now more important than ever and we’re excited to have you join us as we all do our part to Keep Pearland Beautiful.
