YEC’s Team Up 2 Clean Up Litter Scavenger Hunt

Youth Environmental Council is challenging our peers to a litter collection trash-off! Teams of 4 “pickers” will be given a location to complete a litter scavenger hunt in a two hour timeframe. Lunch and Awards Picnic at the KPB office to follow the race! So gather your Highschool friends and sign up today!

Race Details:

1. Race begins at 9am and ends at 11am: Take the time to observe and notice things you don’t usually see. Locate your Litter Supply Scanvenger hunt Kit.
2. Pick up litter when you find it, and help make the beautiful things in your park stand out!
3. Check off items from your scavenger hunt list. How many things can you find from the list?
4. Don’t forget to look for the bonus points!
5. At 11am the race will end and teams will get a text message to gather their team and return to the KPB Office(5800 Magnolia Pkwy, 77584).
6. Teams will have an option to submit data online or bring everything back to the center for assistance.
7. 11:15am-12pm: Enjoy Lunch Picnic provided by KPB. Once all data has been submitted, YEC will announce winners. This will also be a great time to reflect on how litter impacts our environment.
